House Rules
We have established house rules to ensure all our guests can have a pleasant stay. Please review them before making a reservation.
Please remove your footwear at the entrance and wear slippers inside the building. Please also wipe the wheels of your suitcase with a wet wipe before bringing it inside.
Please do not wear shoes in the indoor living spaces of the guesthouse. The entrance is called the 'genkan' and is divided into a lower area for removing shoes and a raised tatami-floored area. Please do not step onto the tatami with outdoor shoes. Please leave your shoes on the dirt floor (doma) of the genkan. Thank you for respecting our culture.
Beyond the genkan, please carry your suitcase rather than dragging it, to avoid damaging the tatami.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the guesthouse. Please smoke outside the entrance.
Please dine in the dining room only. Eating in the bedrooms is not permitted.
This is a quiet residential neighborhood. Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. Excessive parties, musical instrument playing, and drug use are strictly prohibited.
Pets are not allowed.
Only guests with a reservation may stay in the guest rooms. Please do not bring additional outside visitors.
Please cooperate with waste sorting. Recyclables are separated into 3 categories: cans, glass bottles, and PET bottles (please remove caps and labels).
Entry into rooms or areas restricted by staff is not permitted. Thank you for your cooperation.
If any equipment or belongings are damaged, please notify staff immediately. Please be aware that you may be required to compensate for significant damage.
Amenities and fixtures provided in the guesthouse (towels, appliances, hangers, etc.) may not be taken home. Please note that unauthorized removal of items may be reported to the police as theft.
